Ahhh, I haven’t written in MONTHS I missed you! Really, I don’t know what it is that made it so hard for me to write during that time, but I seriously couldn’t write anything. Not here, or in my journal… I couldn’t even write that UA&P essay right. (The last one is OK though, since I ended up not applying there anyway. Long story. For later.
)
I’ve spent the past few days working on the kids’ costumes for the Sunday School Christmas play. I have to sew gold sequins onto the angels’ shirts and make swirly patterns. I did this last Sunday during service with Bianca, Hannah, Nicole, Rachel and Dar, and that was fun. We didn’t get to finish much though, and the shirt Hannah, Rachel and Dar worked on pretty much came apart so I had to start it all over again. XD Hey, it isn’t as easy as you think, and it takes time. It’s relaxing though, and it’ll probably take less time to do once we have more people sewing. Bianca and I have a loooooong way to go where those shirts are concerned and we don’t have that much time. Thank God for friends who have nothing to do and are willing to help.
The rest of the time I’m studying, or on the internet catching mice on MouseHunt (I don’t know why either. Goes to show how bored I’ve been. XDD) or sleeping. I don’t know why I sleep so much, it’s kind of creepy.
Only 23 days until the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and I’m not prepared at all. I’m getting review materials this weekend, and I imagine I’ll be spending most of my time reviewing after that. I’d very much like to pass and I don’t think I can in this unprepared state.
JLPT is the only test left for me this year though, which is awesome. I’m done with my college entrance exams, so now I’m just waiting for results. I planned to apply for UP, Ateneo, La Salle, CSB and UA&P but ended up taking entrance exams in the first two only. We decided La Salle and CSB were too far away and I wouldn’t end up going to school there unless I failed in everywhere else, so nevermind. I was all set to apply for UA&P, but thanks to Divine Intervention, that didn’t work out either.
I had a slight feeling UAP wasn’t meant to be while I was writing my essay, because I didn’t have anything up until the very last minute (a day before the deadline) and after I started, I didn’t know how to end. My dad wrote the conclusion for me. Then when we were about to print it out, we discovered that the printer’s USB cable wasn’t at home, it was at my mom’s office. All this happened the day we were going to submit the requirements, so Dad had to e-mail my essay to Mom, who was at work, so she could print it there, then after that she had to drive all the way back to Ortigas so we could submit it. Dad and I were at UA&P talking to the admissions lady, and my dad was getting really irritated because she was really snobby when she told us that our requirements were incomplete, and no, they aren’t going to accept photocopies, and no, we couldn’t submit the requirements on another day because that day was the deadline. So we left, and that was that.
And in the end, it’s UP or Ateneo. Which makes it easier to choose, I suppose. I’ll just go wherever I pass. Problem is if I don’t pass anywhere, in which case I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. But I’ll cross that bridge only if I have to.
So that’s been my life lately. No one’s been missing much, no. XD I will be writing more from now on, promise.
