ACET, Done.
September 14, 2008
I took the ACET this morning. Two down, two to go. Or three. Besides La Salle and St. Benilde, I might take the exam for UA&P as well. Blaster was encouraging me to take the exam at PMA, but I didn’t. (I didn’t want to at first, but now I’m sort of regretting not taking it. He said it was a real experience.)
I found the ACET easier than the UPCAT in a way.In a lot of ways, actually. During the UPCAT there was Filipino language and reading comprehension besides the English, which really tired me out. There were no Filipino parts in the ACET. There was an essay, but I’ll have that over Filipino reading comprehension anytime.
I was more afraid of the ACET than the UPCAT because people kept talking about the time pressure, but I found the whole, 25 items in 5 minutes thing easier than the 70 or so items in an hour we did for the UPCAT.
The math parts were hard for me, so I just guessed my way through them. haha.
It wasn’t so bad, really. I felt no pressure, which is weird. I think maybe I’m just a naturally calm person. I don’t mind.
Now all I have to do is wait for the results in January.
ACET Essay’s Gone.
July 24, 2008
So I was writing my ACET(Ateneo College Entrance Test) essay here on WordPress. And I was doing pretty good. I was almost done and everything. Then my computer hung. And I panic, because I wasn’t able to save it yet. So then I turn my computer on again, praying ever so hard that by some miracle, my essay was saved. But, it wasn’t. Which is really sad, because that means I’m going to have to start all over again.
Guys, when you’re writing, don’t forget to save. Like, hit save every ten minutes, or something. Ha ha ha. I know that’s common sense, and I should’ve done that. But I’m a genius like that. =D
I feel really bad about it right now, really. But there isn’t anything I can do. And, maybe God wants me to write about something else. :p Anyway, I have to start writing again now.
